    The ecosystem

    How the pieces fit together

WYDE is a platform, and each piece is built to power the next. Trading and spending fund causes and pay the people who spread them; impact and pay attract more people; more people drive more volume; more volume funds more impact. Put simply: help a cause grow, and it helps you back.

    • WYDE

WYDE is the platform. Its exchange is the engine that turns trades into funding, and it is where future causes would launch.

    • EAT

EAT is the first ecosystem on WYDE, for hunger. Its idea is "Everybody EATs": people get fed, creators get paid and seen, restaurants reach new customers.

    • $EAT

$EAT is EAT's token. Each trade pays a 1% fee: a quarter funds hunger relief and a quarter goes to the creator pool.

    • eat.ong

eat.ong is the public face of the hunger cause: it tells the story, shows meals funded, and helps people find food assistance through the Hunger Network directory.

    • The EAT Card

The EAT Card lets people take part without crypto. You spend like a normal debit card; the card fees stores pay fund the cause.

    • Creators and clippers

Creators and clippers spread the cause and are paid for verified views. Restaurants give meals and fund videos, and get reach and customers back.

    • The Hunger Cup

The Hunger Cup turns attention (retweets) and trade volume into a competitive, transparent meal pot.

    • The WYDE Foundation

The WYDE Foundation is the separate 501(c)(3) for tax-deductible gifts and food-donation receipts.

    • The WYDE Newsroom

The WYDE Newsroom and the official channels keep the community informed.

    The flywheel

    1. Trading $EAT pays a 1% fee, split four ways: hunger relief, the creator pool, liquidity and the platform, 0.25% of the trade each.

    2. Spending with the EAT Card funds the cause from card fees stores already pay.

    3. Hunger relief funds meals, and the creator pool and the cause fill the $1M Clipping Fund, which pays clippers per verified view.

    4. Clips, restaurant videos and the Hunger Cup bring reach and new supporters.

    5. Public, verifiable impact brings more holders, cardholders and creators, who trade and spend again.

The WYDE Foundation sits beside the flywheel: its charitable grants and food-donation receipts support the causes themselves, not the token.

BriefingThe $EAT Briefing, May 2026WYDE’s first treasury and ecosystem update, and what has changed since.Read it

Issue 01 of The $EAT Briefing (late May 2026) was WYDE's first official treasury and ecosystem update. Its headlines:

    • The WYDE Foundation earned 501(c)(3) status, effective March 3, 2026, so gifts to it are tax-deductible. WYDE runs as a Wyoming DUNA with 501(c)(4) status for the token economy, beside the 501(c)(3) Foundation.
    • Meals funded passed 51,600, and fees accrued for the cause and the treasury were about $35,500, none of it disbursed yet.
    • The Hunger Cup went live at hungercup.com: retweet to feed, in a 16-country bracket.
    • The EAT Card was announced for the week of June 1, built with Crowded.

What changed after the briefing (as of 5 November 2026)

    • Meals funded: 74,108, up from 51,600+.
    • The card did not go live the week of June 1. The EAT: Card app went live on the Apple App Store on July 16, 2026, and is also on Google Play.
    • The app: app.eat.ong was not responding on 5 November 2026. EAT's current app is the EAT: Card app (eat.ong/app).
    • Listings: BitMart, the first exchange listing, stopped trading on August 26, 2026. No further exchange listings have been reported.
    • Fees: WYDE now describes the 1% fee as split four ways, 25% each: hunger relief, creators, liquidity and the platform. See Tokenomics and fees.
